A voz de um passado em um contexto contemporâneo: o cenário do Sítio Freguesia do Andirá - AM

Abstract

The present work refers to the archaeological site of Andirá, located in the municipality of Barreirinha in the Lower Amazon. In order to create the scene of the site in the contemporary, we describe the local landscape and discuss the relationship that the residents establish with the archaeological remnants. The present research is exploratory and descriptive, the area of Freguesia do Andirá, as well as the territory of Barreirinha, was never mentioned in archaeological works. For this research, we use the concept of landscape to describe the physical aspects of the environment: the land, the water and the flora that make up the site; however, we dialogue with the public archeology, because the scenario will be described takes into account the performance of the local residents, since above the site there is an interaction with the "things" of the past.
