FINTECHS: análise comparativa entre Bancos Digitais e Tradicionais. Preferência dos acadêmicos do curso de ciências contábeis da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas

Abstract

This article discusses studies on research carried out with academics from the Accounting Course at night at the State University of Amazonas, in order to explore the branch of Digital Banking Fintechs, developing a comparative analysis between Traditional and Digital banks and their competition aiming improving these banking services for their users. This research work has the general objective of demonstrating what the preference of academics in the Accounting Sciences course at UEA-ESO is in relation to traditional and digital banks. The method used for the elaboration of this work is an empirical-analytical research of quantitative and qualitative character in which a questionnaire was developed as a primary source. In the results obtained, there was a strong tendency of users for Digital Banks, although many still prefer the Traditional ones; of these, it is clear that despite using digital financial platforms, few people know the term “Fintech”.
