Produção e destino de resíduos sólidos em territórios rurais: uma análise na comunidade do Bom Socorro do Zé Açu - Parintins/AM.

Abstract

The work developed had the objective of identifying the production and final destination of solid waste in the Community of Bom Socorro do Zé Açu, municipality of Parintins, and how the residentes deal with the environmental issue. As a researcn technique for data colletion, questionnaires were Applied in order to survey the types of solid waste most produced in their homes, what most affected the environment of the Community, and what was the final destination that the Community members gave to this waste. The results obtained show us that in addition to the environmental problem arising from the increased production of solid waste and its inadequate disposal, the Community also faces some Other types of problems, such as: the silting upo of the lake; removal of sand, and deforestation of the lake shores.
