Resumo

The research was conducted in a municipal public school in Manaus, in a 6th 6th grade class in which the difficulties in performing basic operations of mathematics Mathematics were aggravated by the pandemic due to essentially virtual classes. It is evidenced here the non-understanding of the concepts of Geometry due to the use of concrete material was little present in the remote classes. In this context, the research objective is to provide students of a 6th grade class of elementary school a significant a significant learning of basic concepts of Geometry through the construction of a home garden. through the construction of a home garden. The research is qualitative in nature, through the technical procedure of action research and using questionnaire interview and observation as tools for data collection.
