Espaços ubarnos de Santa Clara: modificações a partir da movimentação humana

Abstract

With the intention of understanding how the occupation and transformation of the Santa Clara neighborhood, where I have lived since childhood, took place, a descriptive qualitative research with a bibliographical approach was carried out on the modifications of the urban space of the Santa Clara neighborhood based on human movements. Thus, as a result we obtained the research: Urban spaces of Santa Clara: modifications from human movement. As a result, we developed the following general objective: to understand the socio-spatial construction of the Santa Clara Parintins neighborhood. Investigator studies such as: Pantoja, Glória and Ricardo (2011), Souza (2013) and Cortez (2011) were used to support the information. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with some residents of the Santa Clara neighborhood in order to rescue the memories of the neighborhood's origins and transcribe them in a graphic representation. Data analysis took place through the process of categorization of the interviews, in which the residents' speeches were victims and, based on that, the following categories were created: Bairro Santa Clara Natural; Occupation and transformation of the Santa Clara neighborhood and Santa Clara neighborhood: a place of life. The categories created were used as a basis for creating the research products. The research results point us to the process of occupation and transformation of Santa Clara, the graphic representations are the inspired sources of the residents' memories so that we can understand the past, current and future changes caused by the human being in this neighborhood through their movements. In this way, we recorded the roots of the neighborhood and consequently of the city of Parintins.
