Abstract

This work from the perspective of Geography and Decolonial Thought presents a discussion about identity, manifestation, territory and the strategies of struggle and re-existence of indigenous peoples of the Parque das Tribos community, located in Tarumã-Açu in Manaus (AM). Its general objective is to analyze the diversities of cultural manifestations, territorial markers and the strategies of social struggles and territorial re-existences of the indigenous peoples of the Parque das Tribos Community, Tarumã-Açu, Manaus-AM in the face of forms of coloniality. As specific: understand the colonization process, the territory and territorialities and territorial markers indigenous peoples as a strategy of struggle and re-existence. To understand the organization/conquest of cultural and political territories in the Parque das Tribos Tarumã-Açu as ways of confronting the Coloniality of Power, Knowledge, Being and Nature. Identify the cultural manifestations, the pluriethnic territorial markers and the social struggles and re-existences of the indigenous peoples of the Parque das Tribos Tarumã-Açu for their social reproduction on land/territory/nature in the face of coloniality devices. The spatial clipping analyzed is the Parque das Tribos, which is located at Rua Rio Purus, 702, Tarumã neighborhood, in the West Zone of Manaus Amazonas. The method used is dialectical and the methodology used presents a qualitative approach of an exploratory descriptive nature, in which bibliographic research, documentary and statistical research and field research were carried out with non-structured (open) interviews with voice recording with indigenous peoples, records photography and cartographic production. In this context, when approaching the issue and the perspective of Geography and decolonial thinking, one can see the contribution about territory and territoriality, as well as the understanding of the term territorial markers, the dimension of plurality and ethnic and cultural diversity, the richness linguistics, and the strategies of struggles and re-existences that were experienced during the process of reclaiming territory in the community, it is essential for indigenous geography to discuss the complexity of how the colonization process marked by violence occurred in the Parque das Tribos neighborhood. . Therefore, it is necessary to understand the ways of life of indigenous ethnic groups and to think about decolonization practices, as a form of struggle and re-existence for social and cultural reproduction in their territories of life, work, culture, ancestral and spiritual.
