Resumo
The present text aims to discuss a final course project developed at the Centro de Estudos Superiores de Tefé, Universidade do Estado do Amazonas- UEA, with students from different periods of the Physics Teaching program (5th, 7th, and 9th). The objective of this study was to assess the presence of hypothetical-deductive skills among the physics teaching program students during the investigation of an experiment, the simple pendulum, in the laboratory. In other words, it aimed to verify the students' abilities to formulate hypotheses, test hypotheses, and interpret results. To achieve this, this qualitative scientific research was individually administered to the participants through guidance and supervision by the author of this scientific study. Through this, we aimed to contribute to the assessment of academic training and provide meaningful insights for future Physics educators when applying theoretical physics in practical contexts.
