Resumo
This work aims to study the feasibility of installing photovoltaic energy for remote self consumption purposes between UEA units in the capital. This study will be done firstly by
performing drone images at the EST, where the panels will be installed, with these images using
PVSOL, a simulation software where it is possible to allocate and choose the best arrangement
of the plates so that generation is maximized. Before that, a study of consumption, demand and
size of the EST substation was carried out, in order to verify the system's allocation limits and
the possible changes that would have to be carried out for this purpose. After that, an economic
feasibility study was carried out using techniques such as VPL, TIR and simple payback to
economically validate the investment, thus bringing into question both the technical and
economic feasibility of the installation, showing whether or not the investment should be made
and the difficulties that this would bring. In the end, it was shown that even though it was not
possible to send the credits, the investment still proved to be viable.
