Resumo
To analyze the food consumption and nutritional profile of pregnant women, served by the Family Health Strategy (ESF). Method: The present study is an excerpt from a research entitled “Lipid profile of pregnant women assisted by the Family Health strategy in the city of Manaus”, which is in the data collection phase. It is a quantitative, exploratory and descriptive study, carried out with 30 pregnant women monitored by the health district in the eastern zone of the city of Manaus, aged between 18 and 50 years. The citizen's electronic medical record (PEC), the pregnant woman's booklet and a closed questionnaire were used to collect data, and the analysis was carried out using the Jamovi statistical software. Results: the timely start of prenatal care (starting at or equal to 12 weeks) predominated in 93.3%. Unplanned pregnancies predominated at 76.7%. More than half of pregnant women (56.6%) were obese. The consumption of fruits had a daily frequency of 56.7%, vegetables with 56.7% on a weekly frequency, vegetables with 60% on a weekly frequency and vegetables with 80% on a daily frequency. Conclusion: obesity was highlighted among pregnant women interviewed, as well as the start of timely prenatal care and adequate consumption of healthy foods
