Resumo
The present work is about the cartoon "Peixonauta" as strategy CTSA-Science, Technology, Society, Environment and the representation of the student as social subject in the initial years of Elementary School. The research was the result of supervised internship and occurred through an interdisciplinary didactic sequence in two schools of the public network, one of the state network and the other one municipal. In the first school, the research was carried out in a group of 3rd year and in the second school with a class of the 4th year of elementary school I. This research aims to understand how the cartoon "Peixonauta" can be a strategy CTSA and thus seeks to verify what students of the 3rd and 4th year of Elementary School think about the theme addressed in the cartoon "Peixonauta"; in addition to realizing how the CTSA can contribute to the teaching and learning of elementary school students in a significant way referring to the environmental issues present in the drawing. The results show that students have a critical and argumentative ability from the cartoon. Finally, the research allowed the student to exercise critical thinking and oral and written argument, reflection on decision making, recognize attitudes that harm the environment and allowed us to understand what students think about the issues environmental and also to identify the relationships made by students when they see the cartoon "Peixonauta", understanding the importance of decision making in environmental preservation. Therefore, from the activities and studies developed it was possible to verify the relationship between cartoon and the CTSA approach.
