Resumo
The research was carried out in the context of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, where, by state determination, classes were held remotely. The research problem was: how contextualized problems allied to the computational environment can be used to improve the teaching of matrices in the second year of high school? Thus, the objective of the research is to provide a more significant learning to students of the 2nd grade of high school regarding the teaching of matrices through the use of Geogebra Software and problems contextualized remotely. The video lessons were made available on the Youtube platform and shared in the WhatsApp group created by the head teacher. The methodological approach is qualitative and quantitative, as statistical techniques were used to measure information and opinions for the study, qualitatively analyzing the results obtained with an emphasis on learning. The subjects were 15 students from the 2nd grade of high school and the Mathematics teacher from the school in the class. Data analysis was carried out through questionnaires applied to students and teachers using Google forms. The research was appreciated by the students since the classes were playful, dynamic and had a proposal focused on the technological environment, at various times they expressed their satisfaction with the software and the video classes, which in this model they could review several times and observe the mathematics in your day to day. One of the important results was being able to contribute to the continuous training of teachers, raising awareness of this methodology and other practices that can contribute to teaching in this pandemic context.
