The present work is a very relevant linguistic study for writing which has
as title Textual Linguistics Applied to Elementary School: the connectives in
text production. The general objective was to understand the importance of studies on the
connectives in school textual productions from the perspective of Textual Linguistics, aiming
in a way to obtain positive results, in order to deepen and understand this mechanism
language in students' writing. How specific: analyze the linguistic theories that deal
of textual production; describe cohesion and coherence in production; develop studies on the
adverbial connectives that help in the production of texts. The bibliographic research of nature
qualitative and phenomenological-hermeneutic method and content analysis. built a
synthesis of the results achieved, obtained through the fragments of texts studied in the classroom
classes by the students of the Letters course in the year 2019, in order to mark the objects of study.
Research was guided by well-known authors who have already explored very important activities
in this line of thought as Saussure (1995), Ilari (2009), Castilho (2012), Cunha
(2011), Koch (2017), Lakatos & Marconi (2007) and Gil (2008), who had a great
importance to support the bibliographical research. After a broad
investigation around the subject in question, it was possible to detect the great importance of the use
connectors in text production, thus establishing the role of text linguistics
applied in the development of these skills in students. It must be understood that when
building a text is necessary to use linking elements and understand their functions
in practice, because in the production of texts it is important that there is an articulation between the ideas there.
contained. These are elements with applied activities and leading students to realize the
