Resumo

This monographic work has the theme: The toy library as a formative process of students from the pedagogy course at Escola Normal Superior: reflections on adoption of play in the classroom”. Your overall goal is to understand the role of toy library as a training space for the Escola Normal's pedagogy course Higher. And as specific objectives to understand the historical aspects of Toy library in Brazil, identify the contribution of the experiences of the toy library for the educator in training, to understand how the School's teachers and students Normal make use of the toy library and how they insert this practice in the theoretical and practical dialogue, to know the concept of teachers and students regarding the role of toy library as a learning laboratory in the pedagogy course. For that, a theoretical survey was carried out on the subject from authors such as SILVA (2008); FRUFREK (2016); Lima (2018); ARAÚJO (2011); RAU, LARA (2017); KISHIMOTO (2011) and others. A field research was carried out with an approach qualitative, using a semi-open questionnaire to collect data from the interviewees from the course and Pedagogy of the State University of Amazonas - UEA, as well as the author's own experience report. Therefore, we confirm that the UEA Toy Library space becomes relevant for the training of Pedagogy students, being a place of learning improvement, valuing playful teaching as a fundamental activity for the development of children, whether in the classroom, the playroom or any other space in that they can learn by playing.
