Resumo
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Brazilian educational sector was strongly affected, with
face-to-face education suspended and replaced by remote classes, through digital
technologies, making it not possible to perform supervised internship in person in schools.
Thus, the general objective of this research was to analyze the changes in the dynamics of the
Supervised Internship of the Biological Sciences Course regarding the use of Digital
Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs) in the context of the COVID-19
pandemic. The study has a qualitative design, and its nature classified as applied and
descriptive research. The study was developed with students and professors of the Supervised
Internship of Degree in Biological Sciences at the Higher Normal School (ENS) of the State
University of Amazonas (UEA), in the municipality of Manaus, Amazonas. Where the Survey
survey was used as a technical procedure for data collection online and for analysis of the
answers obtained in the questionnaires, the 2016 Bardin Content Analysis was used. The
results showed that Supervised Internship during the pandemic brought many challenges and
also learning, where face-to-face modality and Emergency Remote Education have different
dynamics and different learnings. The TDICs contributed to the discipline of Supervised
Internship in this scenario faced by education during the pandemic, in order to meet the need
for continuity of the teachingof students, besides favoring the search by students for innovative
methodologies and resources. If you have the YouTube platform used for posting video
lessons, Google Meet for virtual video conferencing rooms and Google Classroom for creating
virtual classes as the main ones used by both students and faculty. Therefore, despite the
changes that have occurred and challenges faced by teachers and students during the
pandemic period in the discipline of Supervised Internship, the TDICs collaborate in the
teaching and learning process bringing new knowledge, reinforcing the need to be included in
the curriculum of Biological Sciences.
