Rigidez financeira frente a crise da COVID-19: Estudo de Caso na empresa TECHMED

Abstract

This study aims to identify whether the company, which is the focus of this Case Study, has financial rigidity to manage to survive and remain financially healthy in the face of the economic crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this goal, the company provided its balance sheets for the years: 2016,2017,2018,2019. Through them, we were able to obtain the indicators of Capital Structure, Long and Short Term Liquidity, Indebtedness. In all periods presented, the company has positive values, however it has been reducing its values and continues on a downward trajectory. Although this aspect seems bad, the individual indicators are quite surplus, especially with regard to the generation of wealth for the partners, making the situation completely reversible on the part of the managers.
