A Paleta e o Pincel de Iva Tai: explorando as múltiplas dimensões da artista parintinense Ivaney Teixeira

Abstract

The primary objective of this study was to analyze the different facets of Ivaney Teixeira's (Iva Tai) work and understand how they interact to form an artistic identity that engages with her cultural roots and the contemporary scene. Specific objectives included: 1 - Identifying and describing the cultural and traditional elements present in Iva Tai's works; 2 - Investigating the contemporary influences that have shaped Iva Tai's artistic practice; 3 - Presenting the interaction between traditional and contemporary elements in the construction of Iva Tai's artistic identity. A bibliographic research was conducted. The results of the analysis of Ivaney Teixeira's work, known as Iva Tai, reveal the richness and complexity of her artistic production, which goes beyond mere aesthetic representation. Through her works, Iva Tai incorporates a profound reflection on spirituality and the environment, revealing an intersection between tradition and innovation. The symbolic use of the palette and brush, not just as tools but as extensions of her transcendental vision, demonstrates the artist's ability to transform natural and cultural elements into visual narratives that provoke introspection and critical engagement. The research highlighted that Iva Tai's approach transcends contemporary art conventions, offering a perspective that dialogues with Amazonian cultural heritage and contemporary environmental issues, reinforcing her position as a crucial figure in Brazilian art.
