Abstract

Preventive maintenance is an important tool that more and more can improve the quality of life of machines in a factory. What can determine this factor is the maintenance planning to be carried out, with this objective it was to identify and create forms of management of preventive maintenance to be implanted in a medium-sized brewery. Given that the support to modernize and invest heavily in preventive maintenance has grown so that it can empower its employees in order to eliminate or minimize any kind of failure in its production process so as to evidence the Importance of preventive maintenance in the production process as well as cost reduction. Thus it was possible to see improvements in addition to creating a sustainability of preventive maintenance through the implementation of routines, lubrication standards, tools and training for the operation aiming a cost reduction and alive improvement for the machine. For this, field research was carried out in order to obtain the results that can be measured to obtain the expected results.
