Resumo

Laboratory classes can represent an important tool for learning of the student, as they allow the visualization of theoretical knowledge in practice, enabling, through observation and experimentation, asking questions, building concepts, formulate hypotheses, interpret and understand what you visualized. there is, in the However, barriers that limit the performance of this practice. Therefore, this study sought to analyze possibilities and limitations regarding the use of the laboratory of Natural Sciences in Elementary School II. For this, a survey was carried out. bibliographical, through which ten works were selected and analyzed published in the last ten years referring to this theme. The results demonstrated that science laboratories have been little used in most Brazilian schools and the main limiting factors are: the lack of adequate physical space, availability of materials and lack of time on the part of the teachers, both to elaborate and to carry out practical classes. Like possibility of solving the difficulties identified in the last decade, the use of virtual and remote labs, along with digital tools for being able to contribute to learning in Science. It is up to the educational bodies give priority and make investments aimed at implementation of methodologies that include practical activities in schools, in this way, it will be possible to minimize this unsatisfactory reality demonstrated. in this study.
