As dificuldades enfrentadas pelas mães universitárias do curso de pedagogia do CESP/UEA durante o percurso da formação superior

Abstract

Presenting the challenges expienced by University Mothers, during their training is Higher Education, this is objective of this work. The top stimulated us because it is a current an necessary discussion that many women, mothers who study Higher Education, go through and need to recponcile academic life and motherhood. To develop this research, we sought to identify university mothers on the Degree in Pedagogy course who entered in 2019, including those who became mothers in this process. To this end, we sought to verify how mothers manage their studies and work to support their home, and to identify the greatest difficulties that mothers face in their Higher Education journey. To help us with theoretical support, we looked to: Safiotti (1988); Saffioti (1976); Grisci (1994); Oliveira; Otto (2023); Urpia; Sampaio (2011); Gomes (2020); Ribeiro(2016); Mendes (2021). This study was methodologically developed from a qualitative nature, using dialectics as its research, we identified that mothers do not alwayshave a support network and also a lack of structure at the university itself. Mothers have different strategies for balancing studies and university, as they nedd to study in the early hours of the morning. Therefore, thisstudy was considered important for university mothers.
