Resumo

In micro and small companies it is common to observe a people management closer the employees, due to the characteristic spatial distribution of these enterprises. The objective of this article was to study the organizational climate that rules X microenterprise and its reflexes on the motivation of its employees, in order to identify the main focuses of people management in need for improvement, based on Maslow’s Pyramid of Needs, so enabling the suggestion of alternatives to achieve such improvements. Such study was made possible from bibliographical descriptive research and case study, the raised data were obtained through direct observation and questionnaire constructed under the intention of investigate employee opinions. Regarding the results, there is finding of the low level employee satisfaction and the harmed organization climate. After the results analysis, improvements have been proposed through change in the people management practices, based on Maslow’s theory application.
