Resumo
In manufacturing companies, the constant search to reduce waste, costs, and, consequently, increase the profit of the products sold, allied to the well-being of its employees, is a continuous challenge to be faced by management, technical and operational teams. Thus, constant investigations of day-to-day problems are necessary in order to support investments in equipment and training, with the objective of keeping the company competitive in the market in relation to cost, quality and innovation. This work proposes to analyze how Lean Manufacturing and Automation of Manual Processes in a Blistering production line can result in improved efficiency, reduced operating costs and ergonomic improvements, through a scientific and descriptive analysis of a case study where cost and productivity data were presented, the causes of the problem were analyzed, the project to automate the line was technically described and results were demonstrated after implementation, showing how the company can remain competitive in the consumer goods market.
