Resumo
The present work has the objective of analyzing the socioeconomic profile of the
Brazilian investor from 2017 to 2021, in view of the different social classes. The
subject in question is of paramount importance, as it maps the level of savings of
Brazilians, which investments are most used, how works the destination of their
resources and what are the expectations regarding the source of income in
retirement. The research method used was a bibliographic review and descriptive
research, where through the investigation and critical reading of the works and
reports, it was possible to structure the entire research in a logical and systematic
way. It is concluded that in the observed period, Brazilians were continually
improving the allocation of their resources, moving away from just saving and
investing more in government bonds, private bonds, stocks and cryptocurrencies.
