Resumo
The discipline of science should serve as a reflection and investigation of the environment around us, where the student is the main agent of this action. The teacher can use as an educational strategy an interpretive trail. The objective of this work was to evaluate the use of an interpretive trail (Tatu Trail - located at the State University of Goiás) and a participatory speech with the aim of popularizing the knowledge of the Cerrado biome. The Genetic Epistemology of Jean Piaget is among the theoretical foundations chosen. The results obtained through the analysis of the questionnaires and the drawings of the students who participated in the trail suggest a change in the environmental perception. Interpretive trails are tools that can be effective in promoting the popularization of the knowledge of the Cerrado biome and its biodiversity since students can experience real experiences.
