Resumo
The scope of this work is, in general, an overview of the tradition of orality, as it is so important in man's life, especially for men from the countryside where speech is predominant. This carries with it the wonder of the gift of being a storyteller/history intoning its own rhythm and truths, however, this tradition has been lost over the years and in terms of valuing these narratives it is, in fact, scarce, as there is an immense need to bring these narratives into the power of writing. Thinking about how great the domain of speech is in the daily life of the interior, the main idea of the work is not to transform orality into writing, but to show its appreciation and how memory is essential for the rite of passage of these narratives. Using as a theoretical basis, Ecléa Bosi, Alessandro Portelli, Regina Zilberman, among others, who were extremely important for this work and, using field research, these stories can be collected, which are very important not only for the community but for the society in general.
