O programa de produtividade como ferramenta de aumento da eficiência no tribunal de contas do estado do Amazonas

Abstract

This research was made to verify the effectiveness of the implementation of the Productivity Program as a tool to increase efficiency in the Court of Auditors of the State of Amazonas. This research is categorized as applied and descriptive and seeks to identify that effectiveness not only from statistics data but also from the perception of the court staff. The analysis of these results and the comparison with the tools adopted by other Audit Institutions revealed that despite being effective following the objectives for which it was designed, the Productivity Program must be redesigned to consider other factors (like the quality of the services) to meet the Court's current needs, not only for increased productivity but also for the improvement of the staff’s performance.
