Política pública de fomento em CT&I do norte e sudeste a partir dos indicadores de inovação

Abstract

The research aims to investigate data about investments in innovation through a comparative approach between the North and Southeast regions of Brazil. In the methodological procedures, a basic, exploratory research is carried out, with bibliographic and documentary surveys on the main existing Brazilian indicators, in a database such as that of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications - MCTIC, National Institute of Industrial Property - INPI and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - Capes. The discussions present the data in numbers that allow interregional comparison over time. From the results obtained, the disparity between the North and Southeast regions over the years is notable, mainly regarding expenditures for CT&I funding. The conclusion exposes the evolution of total expenditures in CT&I in Brazil and demonstrates that the North region needs to expand investments in the Amazon area, mainly in the sphere of social and biodiversity.
