Abstract

With the significant increase in competitiveness in the industry, costs have become significantly elevant when making decisions in an organization. In a home appliance company where roduction is continuous and takes place according to demand, in order for the products anufactured with the aid of automated machinery and equipment to meet quality and erformance targets, it is necessary for this equipment to be working at maximum efficiency at ll times. This study aims to analyze and identify the best strategy for maintenance management in order to reduce the loss of equipment efficiency as much as possible. The methods analyzed were the maintenance approaches adopted by the company and the stock method for preventive maintenance, based on planning. Considering the needs, the company's scenario and the information available, it was possible to see that there are great opportunities for improvement in both the maintenance approach and stock management.
