A persistência da violência contra a mulher: uma análise dos discursos presentes nas redações do ENEM 2015

Abstract

Violence against women has been a hot topic in society in the 21st century. This is because, for a long time, the woman, besides being considered a "fragile sex" and conditioned to a submission to the male gender, seeks and fights against this social imposition resulting from a macho and patriarchal treatment. In the 2015 National High School Exam (ENEM), this theme was addressed as an essay proposal entitled "The persistence of violence against women in Brazilian society", exposing personal and supported discourses, and above all suggesting interventions about the various types of violence against women in Brazil. The objective of this research was to investigate the speeches present in the essays note 1000 of ENEM 2015. For the analysis of these speeches were used the theoretical assumptions of the French line Discourse Analysis, developed by Michel Pêcheux, seeking to explain these implicit positions of the candidates of the Exam in that year.
