Abstract

The present article entitled Cultural identity in Post-Modernity in The Metamorphosis of Franz Kafka is a brief study which aims to discuss the presence of aspects and values ​​characteristic of post-modern culture in that work and its ethical implications in life Social. This research arose from the need to reflect and understand the constant changes in the sodium-economic-cultural values ​​of postmodern life, changes that are perceived and experienced in all aspects and dimensions of life, in the dimension and in the relationships at the social level, in groups and in interpersonal relationships. We base the work on Aristotle (1991), Chalita, (2009); Hall (2003), who discusses changes in identity from modernity, Hutcheon (1991) and Valls (1994). In this sense, we will approach concepts of post-modernity; the postmodern subject, his identity and his interpersonal relationships; aspects of postmodern cultural identity and literary postmodernism present in the work.
