Resumo
The present work discusses the idea of using electronic games in the school environment, highlighting the challenges and possibilities of using new means and forms of teaching. class in a creative way, using electronic games as a didactic resource for teaching geography. This research aims, in addition to approaching the use of electronic games as a didactic resource in the teaching of geography, to identify the reasons for not using games as a didactic resource and the difficulties of teachers in using these new tools and being able to reconcile them with geography. , taking into account not only the difficulty of contextualizing the themes, but also the difficulties with technological devices. In the research, the school environment was analyzed directly, identifying the attitude of the students with the teacher and the student's interest in the discipline, during the observations it was noticed the lack of interest of the students with geography, this lack of interest became the bias of the research, and we also seek to bring the student's interest to geography using electronic games. With this, we carried out workshops with the students, using electronic games as a didactic resource, thus, we obtained satisfactory results in the research, and we realized the greater interest of the student with geography, when using electronic games as a new form of mediation.
