Memórias, trajetórias e histórias comunidade simeão ponta alta, rio mamurú – Parintins

Abstract

This article is an aspect of a research for the production of the Final Course Work - TCC, together with the undergraduate course in History at the State University of Amazonas - UEA3 Its theme is: "Memories, trajectories and Stories (Simeão Ponta Alta Community, Mamurú River - Parintins)" Anchored in the field of Social History, it dialogues with the methodology of oral history A thematic script was created to guide the research, interviews were conducted with four people who were part of the formation of the Simeão Ponta Alta community, with the objective of recording their experiences about that period The initial analyses of the interviews show that the formation of the community occurred due to religious issues and the personal interest of an individual who had recently arrived in the location The Catholic Church then institutionalized and made the place official as a community, thus having records and an organization following the norms established by it The analyses also indicate that the community went through places, one where it began after a few years there was migration to another space where it is located to this day
