Resumo
In the last decadas in the world and specifically in Brazil the increasing entry of students with
disabilities in regular education and also in higher education, here in this work dealing
especially with the deaf student, there is a need to creat ways of teaching that will serve all
student in the teaching of geography equally. The deaf have their own identity and from of
communication as well as participate in various social contexts, using the mediation of
interpreters from their mother tongue to reading and writing. Thus, with the most frequent entry
of these deaf students in higher education, it focuses on the restructuring of cultures, politic,
curricula and pedagigical practice to meet the particularities of them and all students. The
objective of this paper is to analyze the importance of resorting to criativity in the perspective
of overcoming the difficulties imposed in everyday life in the classroom, where there is the
presence of deaf students, as well as bringing to the academic field of discussions a theme that
is of great relevance in the educational context. This work presente itself as a qualitative
approach investigation, because it brings us paths that show biases for the close development
of the experiences lived by the highlighted subjects. While its typological character is presented
as a study, it makes a reference to na analysis of a specific question. The research on an analysis
of didactic resources designed to facilitate the learming of deaf students in the various áreas of
education, where we suk to focus the teaching of geography to deaf students. The thecnique
used was informal dialogues with deaf students, hearing students, interpreters and teacher of
these students, as well as a study of the works that dead with the subjects. The results of this
work are linked to the validity that the didactic resources bring to the classroom through acting
and communication, which accurs between teacher and students. Even with so many changes
there are still many difficulties to overcome in the educational environment for deaf students.
