Resumo
The inclusion and the right of persons with disabilities (PwDs) to come and go are essential pillars in the development of more accessible and fair cities. In large urban centers, such as Manaus, the lack of information that highlights accessibility conditions in public places, such as restaurants or public squares, makes leisure practices and social activities more difficult for this population. Given this scenario, this work presents the development of a collaborative web platform for mapping accessibility in restaurants in the city of Manaus. The solution adopts crowdsourcing as a collaborative strategy to allow users themselves to provide and share detailed evaluations about accessibility criteria, such as access ramps, adapted restrooms, Braille menus, and circulation space. The development of the project included the stages of requirements gathering, information architecture design, and interface design creation. As a result, a functional version of the AccessPlace platform was developed, including features for consulting, viewing, and collaboratively registering accessibility evaluations in restaurants.
