This research Rural Education: Motivations and Challenges of Teachers at Bom Jesus Rural
Municipal School of Bacuri (2021 - 2022) aims to show the reality of the Rural Educator, in
which it intends to demonstrate that rural education also plays an important role in formation
of individuals in the rural area of Tefé, Amazonas. Since Rural Education can be planned at all
levels, from early childhood education to higher education, this research intends to show that
rural educators are considered fundamental subjects of pedagogical formulation and school
transformations, they are essential for the process. transforming education, seeking to change a
precarious reality that does not happen without the movement of those involved. In this way, a
qualitative methodology was used focused on the application of a questionnaire to the Educators
of the Bom Jesus Municipal School of Bacuri, which made possible the discussions to reach
the proposed results, such as the profile of the educator of the Bacuri community, to which it
was possible to understand that rural education is so complex, that for each reality of a specific
school there is a profile of a Rural Teacher, that each school, each community shapes and
defines this profile. Based on the methodological procedures, a brief literature review was
carried out, which worked on the concept of Rural Education, using authors such as Caldart
(2012); Santos (2018); Tavares (2018), among others. This work will contribute to the record
of the experiences of those who are far from urban centers, and thus will be able to instigate
others to know the reality of teachers and students in rural areas
