Resumo
This work covers important aspects of children's literature by the analysis of a Portuguese-language textbook of the ninth grade of elementary school II. The research aims to investigate the LD in its entirety and effectively the collaboration of this for the formation of readers in order to ascertain what content contained in the didactic material offered to the students. However, it was opted for theoretical bases that corroborated with the thematic such as Zilberman (1985), Cademartori (2009), Maia (2007) among others. The study has a greater emphasis on the contribution of the textbook as a tool, as this covers subjects involving children's literature, in which it is of great relevance and need to be shared in the classroom. In this perspective, the reflections around the research have greater significance when they are found from the responses acquired by both the students and teachers in the questionnaires applied in the school field.

Este trabalho aborda aspectos importantíssimos sobre a literatura infanto juvenil por meio da análise de um livro didático de Língua Portuguesa do 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental II. A pesquisa teve como objetivo verificar como a literatura infanto juvenil é trabalhada no livro didático de Língua Portuguesa do 9º ano Ensino Fundamental. Como base teórica utilizou-se os estudos de Cademartori (2009), Maia (2007) dentre outros que contribuiram com a temática em questão. O presente estudo tem como ênfase maior a contribuição do livro didático enquanto ferramenta que aborda a literatura infanto juvenil, na sua totalidade fragmentada dentro do LD (livro didático). Nesta perspectiva, as reflexões em torno da pesquisa em questão, possue significação maior quando são constatadas a partir das respostas adquiridas tanto pelos discentes quanto pelos docentes nos questionários aplicados.
