Conhecendo os vestígios arqueológicos amazônicos através da Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras)

Abstract

This article was developed as part of the learning process for a deaf student in the History Bachelor's program at the Amazonas State University's Center for Higher Education in Parintins. The research and textual production contributed to the production of sign terms for the main archaeological remains of the Amazon, delivering a product that can serve as teaching aid from a bilingual perspective (Portuguese and Brazilian Sign Language – LIBRAS) for both deaf and hearing students. This production was important because the sources of material culture, the subject of this research, are highly visual, contributing to the perception of many details, enhancing my learning as a deaf student.
