Abstract

This article discusses the trajectory of Vinicius de Moraes and the staging of Orfeu da Conceição in the 1950s. Part of the objectives of this research is to analyze Vinicius de Moraes' connection with the black artists of the play Orfeu da Conceição from Teatro Experimental do Negro – TEN - are references in Brazilian theater, to verify to what extent such connections influenced the public and private life of Vinicius de Moraes. The documentary corpus for the development of this research was made up of periodicals, biographies and autobiographies that make us understand the importance of Orfeu da Conceição's production in Vinicius' life and how they enrich the cultural multiplicity of our Brazilian society.
