Implantação do programa 5S e Kaizen no processo de vulcanização em indústria de pneus no polo de duas rodas de Manaus

Abstract

This study was carried out with the objective of implementing the 5S and Kaizen programs in the vulcanization process in the tire industry in the two-wheel hub of Manaus. The study highlighted how the implementation of these practices contributes to continuous improvement, operational efficiency and organization of the work environment. The combination of Kaizen, focused on constant optimization, with the principles of 5S, resulted in improvements in the organization and discipline of the process. The main results of this study are related to the positive results in the vulcanization process, promoting more efficient and higher quality production in the tire industry. It is suggested that the methods be applied in other areas to obtain an improvement in the entire production cycle of the industry.
