Resumo
This work targets to present proposals for improvements and standardization of
activities in the Incoming Quality Control department, in order to optimize available resources
and make information available to interested parties, in order to avoid recurrence of non conformities in raw materials and strengthen customer-supplier relationships. With regards to
the motivations of this study, it starts from occurrences that affected the production process
constantly, causing loss of production and delays in attendance, resulting in the need to deal
with non-conformities externally, fleeing from the previous way of solving quality problems
detected in productive materials, in which only internal actions were carried out to immediately
solve the problem and the information did not reach the responsible for supplying the defective
material. For the development of the work, electronic spreadsheets filled in manually, data taken
from environments of the TOTVS system and dashboards created through tools for business
analysis were used. Once all the proposals have been developed and implemented, it is possible
to verify that the hypothesis of the work is valid, showing that it is possible, based on routine
observations of the department, to identify opportunities for improvement and new tools to be
implemented, without the need for investments and extra costs.
