Resumo

This research is a case study and aims to understand how the remote teaching-learning process in Mathematics developed, in the 6th year of Elementary School II, in the city of Parintins/AM, during the Covid-19 pandemic, in the year 2020. As methodological procedures, semi-structured interviews and mixed questionnaires were used. The target audience was 14 teachers, 105 students and 99 parents/guardians. It was found that the didactic and methodological resources used in remote teaching were conversation applications, handouts, video classes, virtual learning environment (AVA) and radio. The main difficulties identified by teachers, students and parents/guardians were the lack of communication, internet, cell phone; use of digital platforms and lack of mastery of content. It is understood, therefore, that developing the teaching-learning process under these conditions, further promotes social inequalities, requiring a true reflection on the future of education, especially in Brazil.
