Resumo

This document has the performance of presenting improvements for the reduction of cycle time in a given finishing process of a blank in a company of the Polo de Dois Rodas of the Industrial District of Manaus. The theoretical and practical concepts of the Machining process were used as tools to achieve increased productivity and delivery rate to the final customer due to the growing market demand. This project basically consists of two stages: Organization of the machining process and changes in the machine's cutting parameters. Throughout this work, the theoretical foundation on which this project is based will be shown, namely: The concepts of Machining processes for application in the manufacture of parts with high precision, such as tools and main processes to obtain the finished part, Programming e CNC Operation runs through the machining center and the BROTHER language and quality control tools. Then, in Methods and Materials, the project development stages, procedures and materials used are necessary. Afterwards, there is the implementation of the project and the exposure of what was carried out during the stages of the work; the correct positioning of the tools in the magazine in the order in which they are called in the CNC program, correct sequencing of the tool operations when removing the material from the part, organization of the rotations performed by the 4th axis, approximation of the tools in rapid advance of the surface of the part surface and changing the cutting parameters of the analyzed tools as possible for such change so that the central objective is achieved. In addition, to validate the product's quality, the entire line goes through the company's Quality Assurance, where all the design specifications that must be duly met are found. Next, in Results Obtained, data and graphs are given to analyze the cycle-cycle time and the time reduction in each machining center and the primary and secondary gains for the company. Finally, it is concluded through the obtained data that the proposed work reached the cycle time reduction objectives with the reduction of productive expenses for the Aluminum.
