Abstract

The article reports and reflects on the Scientific Initiation research process related to the Academic Support Project (PAIC), developed in the period 2017-2018, with funding from the Amazonas Research Support Foundation (FAPEAM). This is an investigation aimed at collecting and typing sources from the Municipal Council of Parintins-AM. As a delimitation, a document was elucidated, specifically, the Municipal Chamber Entry Protocol, 1935. This document is used with the aim of making conjectures about the networks of political relations between the city of Parintins and the government of Getúlio Vargas (years 1930 and 1940), through the mediation of its intervenor Álvaro Botelho Maia. Of course, it is worth highlighting that the considerations made here are initial.
