Resumo
The child interaction with his physical environment has been discussed more intensely in the contemporary context calling for the construction of practices and reflections on the theme. From this perspective, this article problematizes the child-environment relationship from the space, environmental perception, and appropriation categories. The text refers to a discussion in the theoretical-conceptual field of the relation evidencing the children as social actors. It emphasizes the recognition of space as a radical element, the construction of environmental perception as a revealing form of the infant universe and social appropriation as an instrument that allows meaningful learning of care.
