Resumo
Neurodevelopmental disorders are disorders that cause
impairments in cognitive development, personal, behavioral, social functions,
motor, linguistic and intellectual skills, highlighting attention deficit disorder and
hyperactivity (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Considering the role of
professional nurse as a caregiver and health educator, the importance of
knowledge of this topic during the academic training process. Objective: analyze the
knowledge of nursing students from a health school about the main
Neurodevelopmental Disorder. Methods: this is a descriptive study of
quantitative approach. Data were obtained from standardized instruments
applied digitally via email, the results were recorded and organized
in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, the variables were presented by relative frequency
and absolute in a table and analyzed by PSPP free software, using descriptive statistics.
Results: 33 academics participated in the research, the majority of whom were male
female in both the 9th and 10th period, with a difference of 5.15% of responses
8% correct responses to the instrument on ADHD in responses to the instrument on ASD.
Conclusion: With the application of these instruments, satisfactory results were obtained, but
still need to be brought to the academy with more relevance, in addition, it was considered the
role of the professional nurse as caregiver and health educator, observing the
importance of knowledge of this topic even in the academic training process for
correctly identify the characteristics of the main Disorders of the
Neurodevelopment and provide qualified assistance to both the individual and the
people in your community
