O vocativo como forma de tratamento nominal no contexto de fala manauara

Abstract

With the aim of analysing vocatives as forms of address, based on the interpersonal relation theory proposed by Kerbrat-Orecchioni (2006), this study aims demonstrate the nominal forms of address in the Manauara speech context. Sociopragmatics is necessary as an approach to explain such phenomena due to its linguistic, social and pragmatic linguistic, social and pragmatic. Of quali-quantitative nature, the study had as method of investigation a questionnaire with pre-established questions and was carried out between the months of May and August 2019, in the city of Manaus. As an instrument, it was opted for interviews recorded and later transcribed, with open questions, in order to know the possible "norms" that govern the treatment choices of the interlocutors of this region. The results explain the wide and varied forms of address that position the interlocutor in the interaction in the horizontal or vertical the interlocutor in the interaction in the horizontal or vertical axes. However, even among the most "close" forms in the the interlocutor's interactional context, there are still elements that position him/her in a certain interpersonal interpersonal "distance".
