Resumo

For many years we have witnessed the struggle of women to establish themselves as protagonists in society in different fields of action. Feminist criticism within the academy, to present a vision of women within literary studies. literary studies. This article aims to analyze the female voices of three writers and the representation of female characters in their productions in the light of gender concepts and of the feminist theory. For this, besides discussing the concepts of gender and female identity, we identity, we selected three short stories: "Cartography", by Cíntia Moscovich, "Preciosidade", by Clarice Clarice Lispector and "The Presentation" by Virginia Woolf, to carry out an analysis of female authorship and authorship and the representation of women. At the end of this research, we conclude that the authors translate into the literary world their feminine anguishes and events that are inserted in the reality of women, loaded by different historical-social contexts that accompany the transitions of thought and social behavior.
