Análise gerencial na produção agrícola: um estudo em famílias do interior do Amazonas

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a management analysis of agricultural production costs for families in the interior of Amazonas, focusing on the municipality of Iranduba. The research addresses the economic and financial reality of these families, identifying the cost management practices used and the main challenges faced in the context of family farming. Using a qualitative and descriptive approach, primary data were collected through interviews and questionnaires administered to five farming families. The results revealed that financial control is, in most cases, carried out empirically, with manual records or memorization, which limits the efficiency of management decisions and the potential for farm growth. The research also highlighted the resilience of farmers in the face of climate and financial challenges, but also highlighted the urgent need for technical training and the use of more advanced accounting tools to promote the sustainability and competitiveness of these farms. Finally, this study reinforces the importance of family farming for the region's socioeconomic development, highlighting the role of public policies and technical assistance in improving financial management and promoting more efficient agricultural practices.
