Resumo
There is nothing more complex than written language, a system formed by a set of regular and irregular segmentations. Therefore, the school has a fundamental role in the acquisition and consolidation of writing, for that, aiming to facilitate the writing process, it canonized a simplistic methodological bias of orality transcription, that is, writing is transmuted in that which has greater correspondence with speech, boosting the active use of hearing, however, when the student makes use of the hearing loops, It is located precisely in the occipital lobes, an area responsible for visual stimuli; more specifically, sitting on the flank of the left occipito-temporal sulcus, is the VWFA (area of the visual form of words) responsible for reading written words, the same area that makes the facial recognition. Based on this idea, this paper aims to show that the use of the global phonological method is prone to failure, since it is an auditory perceptual process. Redirection to the visual region will allow stability in writing, since stimulation of the VWFA, an area specialized in visual memorization, will facilitate gradual recall of a visual alphabet.
Keywords: VWFA; auditory loops; brain; occipital lobes; orality.
