Resumo
This Course Completion Work entitled "Tune as a pedagogical tool in Portuguese Language classes in Youth and Adult Education" has the main objective of analyzing how the tunes de boi-bumbá can be used as a pedagogical tool in Language classes. Portuguese in Youth and Adult Education-EJA in a municipal school located in the city of Parintins. The research was based on authors such as: Penna (2014), Deckert (2012), Sanches (2012), Valentin (2005), Carvalho (2010), among others who contributed to the understanding of the theme. The work was developed through a qualitative approach, with a hypothetical-deductive method and having as a type the field and bibliographic study. The subjects of the work were two teachers who work in the EJA modality with the subject of Portuguese Language and students of the 5th year of Elementary School in a Municipal Public School. With regard to data collection, techniques such as an interview with the teachers focused on nine questions were used, a closed questionnaire also with nine questions addressed to EJA students, follow-up, and observations in the classes chosen for investigation and a workshop proposal pedagogical. As final considerations, we present the potential to use the tunes as a pedagogical tool, in order to contribute to the teaching-learning process, as well as to understand and reflect on how this cultural element can be inserted within the EJA modality.
