A sistematização da assistência de enfermagem na gestão do cuidado do processo transfusional

Abstract

To investigate how the Systematization of Nursing Care (SAE) is carried out by nurses who occupy management and supervision positions in the hospitalization and blood transfusion sectors of the Amazonas Reference Blood Center. Method: Descriptive study with

a qualitative approach, carried out from October to November 2024. For data collection, a semi- structured questionnaire was used that addresses variables about the profile of the participants

and the pillars of SAE, which involves: Systematization of the method, systematization of human resources, and systematization of instruments. Result: of the 08 participants, 07 were female and 01 was male, aged 44 to 53 years, all working in the management function. The application of the SAE was homogeneous in the 03 pillars in the hospitalization and transfusion service of the hemocentro, 14 specific nursing forms for hemotherapy were observed that assist in the management of the work process, both in the systematization of the method, among them the Nursing process sheet called "SAE" and in the systematization of personnel management and instruments, which are also carried out through the activities of dimensioning nursing human resources, daily schedule, updating and development of protocols respectively. Regarding the application of the method, the nurses pointed out that it is one of the challenges due to the excessive workload and lack of human resources. Conclusion: the study revealed that the SAE in the blood transfusion process is performed in the hospitalization and transfusion sector, but faces difficulties in the application of the method because it uses a general instrument, standard for all users, as well as the nursing process is still confused with the name SAE. The adoption of computerized technologies integrated with hospital management systems is important to promote a more efficient SAE. Contribution: This study highlights the importance of using the systematization of nursing care as a management tool for structuring and organizing actions and their work process in the practice of nursing care, aiming to guarantee quality and safety in care for people in need of blood transfusion.
